Sonderprägung zum Jubiläum

Die Wiener Philharmoniker Münze besteht aus purem Gold (999,9% Goldanteil) zählt nicht nur zu den am meisten gekauften Münzen, sondern auch zu den auflagenstärksten Goldmünzen der Welt. Seit 1989 gibt die Münze Österreich den Philharmoniker in verschiedenen Größen heraus. Regulär ist die Münze in der Größe von 1/25 Unze (1,24 Gramm), bis hin zur 1/1 Unze (31,1 Gramm) erhältlich.

Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum der Münze 2009 brachte die Münze Österreich eine Sonderausgabe mit einem Nennwert von 2000 Euro und einem Gewicht von 20 Unzen – das entspricht mehr als 622 Gramm – heraus. Die Goldmünze erschien in einer limitierten Auflage von 6027 Stück, welche in der Qualität Stempelglanz geprägt wurden.
