Basically, we buy all gold bars, as well as silver, platinum and palladium bars.
How is the value of a gold bar determined?
Another factor relevant to the purchase price is whether the gold bar comes from an LBMA-licensed manufacturer and is therefore considered bankable, or whether it is a bar from a manufacturer that is not on the LBMA list of "good delivery manufacturers".
At Gold&Co. we buy all gold bars, but you must expect a discount of up to 15% when selling gold bars from a non-Good Delivery manufacturer.

Sell certified tradable gold bars
Bankable gold bars have the following characteristic in common: production by a Good Delivery certified manufacturer. This certification is awarded by the London Bullion Market Association(LBMA) to manufacturers who commit to strict rules and controls in the recycling and production of gold bars. In contrast to most gold bullion coins (e.g. Vienna PhilharmonicMaple Leaf, Krugerrand and others), the dimensions of gold bars in the small investor range up to 1 kilogram are not standardized internationally and vary depending on the manufacturer.
At Gold&Co. we buy all bars: Please note, however, that if you sell a gold bar from a non-LBMA-certified manufacturer, you can expect price reductions of up to -15%. This is because these bars cannot be resold and must be remelted.
If you would like to buy gold bars, you will therefore only find gold bars from LBMA-certified manufacturers such as the Austrian Mint, Argor-Heraeus, C.Hafner, Valcambi, Heimerle + Meule, ...
