About this product

Rudolf I. 1991

From 1974 to 1979 and from 1991 to 2001, 100 shilling commemorative coins with 6 different motifs were minted in Austria. In their first phase, the 100 shilling coins with a diameter of 36 mm were issued in silver at 640/1000. In the second issue phase, all value sides have their own motif design matching the issue occasion.

The silver coin Schilling has a long tradition in Austria and was a popular gift for a long time. It has lost its importance as a normal means of payment since the introduction of the euro in 2002. But as a bullion coin or collector coin he is still popular.
