This silver coin was minted for the first time in 1986 and changes its motifs on the reverse every year. The silver kangaroo is the counterpart to the Australian Nugget, i.e. the gold kangaroo. This beautiful coin shows on the reverse, among other things, a red giant kangaroo with the words AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO. On the obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
