The silver coin schilling has a long tradition in Austria and was a popular gift for a long time. It has lost its significance as a normal means of payment since the introduction of the euro in 2002. However, it is still popular as a bullion coin or collector's coin. A rare vintage and therefore particularly interesting for collectors is, for example, the 10 schilling coin from 1964.
