Schilling silver coins as an Austrian tradition

The silver coin schilling has a long tradition in Austria and was a popular gift for a long time. It has lost its significance as a normal means of payment since the introduction of the euro in 2002. However, it is still popular as a collector's coin. The 10 schilling coin from 1964, for example, is a rare vintage and therefore particularly interesting for collectors. Collecting silver coins has always been fashionable, especially when the price of gold rose.
