The impressive 100 euro gold coin "The Austrian Imperial Crown" concludes the "Crowns of the Habsburgs" series. Emperor Rudolph II had the precious jewel made by the famous goldsmith Jan Vermeyen. The magnificent decorations of the original crown are also depicted in great detail on the coin. The other side shows Emperor Franz Joseph I.

The original three-piece crown, made by the famous Flemish goldsmith Jan Vermeyen, also impresses on the coin with its magnificent decorations. The coronet, crown band and mitre as a sign of divine grace are depicted in great detail, with even the smallest elements recognizable. The crown can be seen in a solitary three-quarter view in the center of the coin. The ermine collar on which it rests reinforces the imposing impression.
