Copied from nature and embossed in gold: the portrait of the mallard, a beautiful apparition, a wild animal that does not shy away from human proximity. - Always busy in its search for food, the mallard waddles and wades around, flies, swims and burrows - and we love to watch it do it all.

The value side shows a drake swimming. In the foreground, reeds, a water lily and the ornament typical of the series complete the picture.

The other side shows a family of mallards. A drake stands on the right, somewhat hidden by reeds, on a bank. Just behind it, a mother duck and two chicks are swimming. In the left background, reeds are growing out of the water. The shoreline of the other side of the lake can be seen behind it. Two more mallards are flying in the upper part of the coin.
