2000 years of Christianity

This Austrian commemorative coin commemorates 2000 years of Christianity and comes from the manufacturer Austrian Mint. On the occasion of this anniversary year, this was issued with the title 'the Bible'. An accompanying certificate guarantees the authenticity of the gold coin; in addition, the coin is also recognized as legal tender in the Republic of Austria. The commemorative coin shows on the obverse the apostle Paul, recognizable by his beard and half bald head, in an ancient robe with sash, reading from a Bible scroll with Hebrew letters, to which he points with the index finger of his right hand. As a sign of the early martyrs, he carries a palm branch.
