The ibex is completely in its element on the dizzying rock faces of the high Alps. It can be recognized from afar by its imposing forehead weapon, which seems to have been created by an artist's hand.

Our engravers have taken nature as their model and used all their talent to create a vivid image, one that will delight any nature lover. - All in gold.

The value side shows an ibex in profile. Gentian and edelweiss adorn the motif in the foreground.

The other side shows an ibex with a young animal in the middle of a steep rock face. If you look closely, you can see a marmot in the lower left area of the coin.
