Austria through the ages

This coin comes from the series "Austria through the ages", which already began with commemorative coins in Schilling denomination.

The coin's obverse depicts guards guarding the Vienna Hofburg at the Swiss Gate. The Vienna Hofburg was built in the late Middle Ages and was the residence of the Habsburgs until 1918. The obverse of the coin depicts Emperor Ferdinand the First, who moved his residence to the Hofburg in Vienna in the mid-16th century.

The coin is sold including a beautiful box and certificate of authenticity.
