About this product

From the Habsburg series

This Austrian commemorative coin commemorates Empress Elisabeth and comes from the Fates of the House of Habsburg series. An accompanying certificate guarantees the authenticity of the coin struck in proof quality, and the gold coin is also recognized as legal tender in Austria.

Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie, Duchess of Bavaria was a princess who, through her marriage to her cousin Franz Joseph I, was Empress of Austria from 1854 and Apostolic Queen of Hungary from 1867.
