Converting money into gold bars or gold coins is therefore limited to an amount of 10,000 euros (once or in several tranches), provided you wish to remain anonymous. If the amount of the transaction exceeds this value, precious metal dealers are legally obliged to record the data of their customers, to keep them for seven years and to hand them over on official request.

In order to guarantee that nothing about your identity is revealed, the personal purchase on site in one of our two branches in Vienna is recommended. Even though various retailers offer sales via the Internet, there is always a residual doubt here as to whether all data is actually transferred completely anonymously - especially if no so-called table transaction or cash transaction is planned and payment is to be made by bank transfer.

A basic rule is: When buying gold, you should have ready the payment of the desired amount in cash, so that an anonymous purchase of gold coins or gold bars is 100% guaranteed.
