This coin was minted from one ounce of 99.9% silver and features the famous 1997 Batmobile™. Also on the coin: the Batman™ logo, a colorized effigy of Batman™ and the words "1997 Batmobile".

3rd issue in the "Batmobile" series

In the 1997 film Batman & Robin, the fourth and final installment of the series that began in 1989, a new Batmobile was introduced. The inspiration for the car came from older racing roadsters such as the Jaguar D Type and the Delahaye 165. In reality: the new 1997 Batmobile™ was approximately 9 meters long and was road tested at over 225 km/h. In addition, like the 1997 version, the Batman Forever car had illuminated wheels and engine cowling. The reverse of the coin shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the face value and year of issue. The special feature: The coin is presented in a floating acrylic frame so that both sides can be viewed.

The coin is sold including the original case with a certificate of authenticity.
