Gold and silver have been cast into bars and used as a means of payment for around 4,000 years. Gold bars are therefore older than minted coins. They are still an excellent investment and especially popular in economically uncertain times. Above a certain size, gold bars are also cheaper than bullion coins.
The Austrian Mint offers investors gold bars between one gram and one kilo weight in 24 carat gold. The minting of the bars has mainly informative significance. It provides information about the manufacturer, weight, fineness and serial number.
The logo of the Austrian Mint guarantees the high standard of its gold bars. These are tradable all over the world and at the same time unique due to their individual number.
The "Good Delivery" bars of the Austrian Mint are produced on its behalf by the Swiss company Argor-Heraeus SA. The quality of the bars meets the highest international standards and therefore ensures worldwide acceptance at all times. The indications on the bars and packaging confirm authenticity and value.
Please note that the product has slight signs of use due to age. This is pure investment gold at a top price!
In addition, the bar is sold in a transparent blister, which corresponds to the old Austrian Mint packaging, so it does not contain a shrink-wrapped certificate.
