What is otherwise reserved for museums or very wealthy private collectors is now also yours: the privilege of being in possession of a work of art by Gustav Klimt. That's because this particularly dazzling series from the Austrian Mint is dedicated to the artist's most important works and transfers them to the medium of coin: with both craftsmanship and art historical accuracy. For the first time, Klimt's famous portraits of women can be admired entirely in gold in a beautiful wooden collector's box.

The aim of the coin series is to present the artist's work after the turn from historicism to art nouveau in his most significant works.
