Practical perforation especially for small investors

In February 2019, at the World Money Fair (WMF) in Berlin, C.HAFNER presented a new type of composite card with gold bars. The SmartPack combines ten individual gold bars, each with a fine weight of one gram, in a functional composite packaging. The separately packaged gold bars remain undamaged and are still fully bankable.

Gold bars as a crisis-proof investment

Precious metals (gold and silver) in the form of coins and bars have been used as a means of exchange and payment for 4000 years. In all this time, they have not suffered any material loss of value or significance.

Today, gold bars made of fine gold are used as a financial investment that can be easily traded. Above all, they are regarded as a crisis-proof store of value. Modern gold coins and gold bars are stamped with the characteristics of weight in grams, fineness and the manufacturer. However, a nominal value is not specified, as is usual for gold coins and silver coins.

LBMA-certified gold bars from C.Hafner

The fine gold bars from the German refinery C.HAFNER from Pforzheim consist of 100% recycled old gold ("secondary gold"), which makes them ecologically and ethically harmless. C.HAFNER also has the Good Delivery Status of the London Bullion Market Association and all gold bars are LBMA certified.

Apart from the packaging, HAFNER ingots are the only ingots in the world with a surface structure that makes any unnoticed subsequent manipulation easily recognizable. Once damaged, the matt or ribbed surface of the cast and embossed ingots is impossible to restore without being noticed.
