The obverse of this gold coin features Paul Kruger, the first and only president of South Africa, together with the coinage Suid Afrika and South Africa.
South Africa's national animal, the springbok antelope, is depicted on the reverse. The Krugerrand gold coin is one of the most famous and most common gold bullion coins. The 1/10 ounce variant is the smallest issue in the South African Krugerrand series.
