About this product

The most famous commander of the House of Austria

On the picture side Prince Eugene of Savoy is depicted, who was one of the most famous generals of the House of Austria and, among other things, commander-in-chief in the Great Turkish War from 1697.

The mint side of the coin shows the staircase in the Prince's Winter Palace in Vienna. While Prince Eugene spent most of the summer months at Belvedere Palace, the Winter Palace served as his main residence during the rest of the year. Today it houses exhibition rooms.

The coin is sold including beautiful box and certificate of authenticity.
