How is global warming affecting our planet?

First the bad news: it's getting hotter and hotter. The rise in temperature caused by humans since the middle of the 19th century has already exceeded the 1°C mark. This is not a new realization. The global community had already agreed to limit the temperature rise to 1.5°C in the 2015 Paris Agreement. This target was confirmed at the 2021 climate summit in Glasgow. However, the Paris targets cannot be achieved with the current measures; a temperature rise of more than 3°C is to be feared by 2100, which would have dramatic consequences for humans and nature.

The other side deals with the aspect of sustainability in economic, ecological and social terms. In the center of the coin, among other things, a globe is indicated, on the right you can see the silhouettes of two faces, next to it a sea turtle swims through the picture. This species is threatened with extinction due to environmental pollution and global warming.
