This Austrian commemorative coin commemorates Marie Antoinette and comes from the Fates of the House of Habsburg series. An accompanying certificate guarantees the authenticity of the coin minted in proof quality, and the gold coin is also recognized as legal tender in Austria.

Marie-Antoinette was born Archduchess Maria Antonia of Austria. She became Dauphine of France on May 16, 1770 through her marriage to the heir to the throne Louis Augustus.
